Pick up your rental car and begin your exploration of Umbria, a region where the spirituality of the landscape molded great saints. Check in at your hotel and start your visit of the most well preserved Medieval town in Italy. Legend says that the ''wolf of Gubbio'' repented of its sins after meeting St. Francis of Assisi. - Day 02

Full day at leisure to explore Gubbio, the oldest town in the Umbria region as shown by the Tables of Gubbio housed in the City Museum and the Roman Theatre's ruins. Rich in historical and artistic heritage as well as in ancient traditions that can be found intact in its folklore and products, Gubbio is a town of ochre colored houses, tiled rooftops, towers and narrow cobbled streets. After a short drive through the fertile Umbrian countryside you are in the Region's capital city, Perugia. The town's Etruscan past is present in the massive Etruscan walls.
