LISBON
Begin your day with a panoramic tour through Lisbon’s grand avenues and storied past. Marvel at the Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery, tributes to Portugal’s Age of Discovery. Pause at the Monument to the Discoverers, then stroll Liberty Avenue and Marquis of Pombal Square. Later, wander along the twisting alleys of Alfama, where vibrant homes, tiled façades, and cozy tavernas radiate charm. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. (B)

LISBON | MONTEMOR | ÉVORA
Travel from Lisbon into the Alentejo countryside, arriving in the hilltop town of Montemor-o-Novo. Visit a local winery for a tasting of the region’s bold reds and elegant whites. Continue on to Évora, where whitewashed houses and Roman ruins await. Explore the striking Roman Temple, the haunting Chapel of Bones, and the grand Évora Cathedral. Stroll the UNESCO-listed city’s cobbled lanes, steeped in timeless beauty. (B)

ÉVORA | TOMAR | COIMBRA
Depart Évora and journey to Tomar, once home to the mysterious Knights Templar. Visit the Convent of Christ, a masterpiece of Manueline artistry and a UNESCO World Heritage treasure. Wander ancient stone streets and feel the echoes of a medieval past. Later, arrive in Coimbra, Portugal’s intellectual heart. COIMBRA | AVEIRO | PORTO
After breakfast, head to Aveiro, the “Venice of Portugal.” Drift through charming canals aboard a colorful moliceiro boat before continuing to Porto. Begin your discovery at the interactive museum “Porto Across the Ages,” where the city’s rich story comes to life. Then, tour a famed wine cellar and enjoy a tasting of the city’s legendary port wines – rich, smooth, and steeped in tradition. (B)

PORTO
Today you’ll experience Porto in full color. Visit its stunning Cathedral, explore the lavish Stock Exchange building, and step into the serene Santa Clara Church. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace – perhaps shopping in Ribeira or enjoying a riverside café. This evening, gather with your group for a traditional dinner accompanied by a live Fado performance, the soulful soundtrack of Portugal. (B, D)

PORTO | BATALHA | ÓBIDOS | LISBON
Make your way south, stopping first at the awe-inspiring Batalha Monastery, an architectural gem of Gothic and Manueline design. Continue to the fairy-tale town of Óbidos, where time stands still. Wander the cobblestone streets, admire vibrant tilework, and take in views from the medieval castle walls. Return to Lisbon, your heart filled with the country’s beauty, spirit, and stories. (B)

LISBON
