After breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to Corcovado, home to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue—Rio de Janeiro’s most famous landmark since 1931. The tour starts in the Cosme Velho neighborhood, where we board the Corcovado train, which winds its way through the lush Tijuca Forest to the summit. From the top, at 710 meters above sea level, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Sugar Loaf, Guanabara Bay, the Southern Zone beaches, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Next, we head to Urca for a visit to Sugar Loaf Mountain, reached in two stages by cable car. The first stop is Urca Hill (215 meters), offering views of the bay, islands, Rio-Niterói Bridge, and Corcovado. A second cable car takes us to the summit at 395 meters, where you'll be treated to stunning views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and the coastline of Niterói.
