Day 1 - TUE I ROME

Arrive Rome and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at a lovely local restaurant. (D)

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Rome highlighting the main districts and iconic sights of the city. Explore ancient Rome through the Circus Maximus Palatine hill with a stop at the Colosseum. Your local guide will introduce the traditions and culinary arts during Roman Times. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure or book an optional tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel to skip the long entry line and discover the artistic masterpieces inside, including Michelangelo

Day 3 - THU I ROME I ORVIETO I MONTEPULCIANO

This morning, depart for Tuscany and stop en route in Orvieto, famed for its Duomo, wines, and the Culinary Art Institute Zeppelin. Meet your local chef for a private cooking class, followed by a delicious lunch. In the afternoon drive through Umbria and the southern Tuscan hills to Montepulciano. Arrive at your hotel late in the afternoon. (B,L)

Rise and shine with breakfast at your hotel then drive to Cortona where much of the popular movie

Travel through the province's hilly zone and take in some of Italy

Day 8 - TUE I PARMA I VERONA I PADUA

Depart Parma this morning and head to Verona, a medieval gem dotted with ornate palazzi and renowned as the setting for three of Shakespeare plays. It truly seems impossible to separate Verona from the Romeo and Juliet love story. Today your tour takes you to see the house believed to be Juliet's, thought to have inspired the famed balcony scene, and to see Baroque buildings, Renaissance palaces, and beautiful churches. In the afternoon Verona's famed enogastronomy shines with a prosecco tasting experience followed by dinner in a countryside estate. After dinner transfer to Padua for check in at your centrally located hotel. (B,D)

Day 9 - WED I PADUA I VENICE I PADUA

After breakfast, depart on a full day tour to explore the iconic city of Venice. Delve into the treasures of Venice on foot exploring such world famous sights as the Basilica of St. Mark and its renowned piazza, Doge
