Day 1 Sun Depart USA Evening departure. Meals and refreshments served on board. Day 2 Mon Costa del Sol Arrive at Malaga Airport where you will be met and taken to your hotel. You'll have the day at leisure. In the evening, meet your host and traveling companions and enjoy a welcome dinner at a lively restaurant in the Costa del Sol. (D) Day 3 Tue Costa del Sol/Ronda/Seville After breakfast, depart your hotel in the company of a tour professional and head towards the quaint Mediterranean city of Ronda where highlights include a visit to Santa Maria Church, the 17th century bridge overlooking Ronda's Tajo gorge and the Baroque style bullring considered the oldest in Spain. Continue your day in the romantic city of Seville in time for lunch at leisure. In the afternoon highlights include a visit to the Cathedral, considered the world's largest Gothic edifice. Afterwards, stop for some photos of La Giralda tower before strolling through the narrow lanes of Seville's delightful Santa Cruz district, a former Jewish Quarter. After a full day, dinner is included at your hotel in Seville. (B,D) Day 4 Wed Seville/Cordoba/Seville After a short drive, your tour begins in the captivating city of Cordoba where you will enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Historic Center. Visit the Aljama 8th Century Mosque combining Islamic, Baroque and Gothic design and internationally recognized as an architectural treasure. Afterwards, continue with a stroll along the former Jewish quarter before returning to Seville. In the evening, enjoy an included dinner and Flamenco Show at a local Tablao of Seville. (B,D) Day 5 Thu Seville/Granada After breakfast depart Seville and continue your tour with a step back into the rich history of Granada as you visit its main attraction, the fabulous Alhambra Palace, widely regarded as being one of the 10 architectural wonders of the world. Both graceful and mighty, this citadel is laced in stone and is surrounded by gardens and fountains. Your tour includes ample time to walk through the beautiful grounds of Generalife and view the palace of Charles V. For your convenience and relaxation, dinner is included at your hotel. (B,D) Day 6 Fri Granada/Costa del Sol This morning, depart Seville aboard your motorcoach bus and head to the shores of the Mediterranean. Stroll along the beaches, try one of the many restaurants, or simply relax and take in your surroundings. Your afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your own pace. (B) Day 7 Sat Costa del Sol Today is at leisure so you can enjoy the popular, picturesque seaside promenade lined with restaurants and quaint shops as you head towards the area of La Carihuela for some fresh seafood at a local restaurant or take advantage of an excursion to the nearby picturesque whitewashed village of Mijas or the exotic city of Tangier in Morocco. (B) Day 8 Sun Costa del Sol to USA (or extend your stay) Morning transfer to Malaga Airport for your return flight home. Meals and refreshments served aloft. (B)
