A 5-day tour through the sacred land begins with the discovery of Jerusalem, specifically the scenic plain of Armageddon to Nazareth and the Church of Annunciation. Travelers will visit the city of Christ and continue their journey into Bethlehem where holy churches and biblical sites spot the map at every turn. Final days will be spent exploring the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and then floating in the mineral-rich Dead Sea, a salt-laden body of water located 400m below sea level (the lowest point on earth).

Itinerary

Day 1 Jerusalem
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you'll be met and taken to your hotel in Jerusalem. The balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Jerusalem (Nazareth, Tiberias)
Begin your discovery of Israel traveling north along the scenic plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. In Nazareth, visit the Church of Annunciation. Onwards via Kafer Cana to view the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Stop at the ruins of the ancient synagogue of Capernaum (the city of Christ). Drive by Tiberias and the baptismal site on the Jordan River. Return to Jerusalem. (B)

Day 3 Jerusalem (Bethlehem)
Panoramic view from the Mount of Olives of Jerusalem's new city and the Temple Mount Esplanade of the old city. Travel along to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city. Enter the Western (Wailing) Wall Square via the Armenian Quarter and continue, via the local bazaar, to the Christian Quarter, the Stations of the Cross, the Holy Sepulchre Church and walk along the 1700 year-old Byzantine main street, the Cardo and the renovated Jewish Quarter. Bethlehem is the birthplace of King David and, according to Christian tradition, where Jesus was born. Visit the cave where Jesus was born, Manger Square and return to Jerusalem. (B)

Day 4 Jerusalem (Massada, Dead Sea)
Descend to the Judean Desert via the inn of the Good Samaritan. Ascend Massada by cable car to tour the 2000 year-old Herodian fortress and palace. Drive to Qumran, overview the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Float in the mineral-rich Dead Sea - at 400m. below sea level, the lowest place on earth. Take a therapeutic mud-bath! Return to Jerusalem with over view of Jericho and old Roman Road. (B)

Day 5 Thu Depart Jerusalem (or extend your stay)
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight home. (B)
