This is the perfect trip for those who have no more than one week to spend abroad a ship and best of all, it can easily be squeezed between two weekends. Included are a three night stay in Athens plus a wonderful four day cruise itinerary that visits the most prominent of the Greek islands plus a stop in Turkey to call on the nearby ruins of the Classical city of Ephessos.

Day 1 Thu Depart USA
Overnight transatlantic flight to Athens. Meals and refreshments served on board.

Day 2 Fri Arrive Athens
Arrive at Athens Airport, where you'll be met by your Central Holidays representative and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 3 Sat Athens
Half-day morning city tour includes highlights of Athens and an extended visit to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Afternoon and balance of day at leisure. (B)

Day 4 Sun Athens
One full day to explore this fascinating city or take an optional tour to Delphi or Argolis. (B)

Day 5 Mon Cruise/Mykonos
Transfer to the port of Piraeus for embarkation and sail for Mykonos. Afternoon arrival at this cosmopolitan island known for its white-washed buildings and lively harbor. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Tue Kusadasi/Patmos
Morning arrival in Kusadasi, Turkey, site of Ephesus, one of the 'Seven Wonders of the Ancient World'. Optional visit available. Continue to the island of Patmos, site of the Monastery of St. John the Divine. Optional visit to the Grotto where St. John received the Revelation as found in the Last Book of the New Testament. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Wed Rhodes
Full day on the 'Island of Roses', site of the Colossus of Rhodes. Visit the majestic Acropolis of Lindos (optional) or sightsee the Medieval Old Town on your own. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Thu Heraklion/Santorini
Morning arrival at Heraklion, Crete, site of the Palace of Knossos (Optional visit available). Later today sail to Santorini and visit the city built on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Fri Cruise/Piraeus/USA
Morning arrival into the port of Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Athens Airport for your flight to the USA, arriving the same day. (B)
