Situated in the vicinity of the town of San Casciano dei Bagni, on top of a hill among 50 acres of oak woodland, pastures and olive groves, this stylish and luxurious house was designed and constructed by its first owner, a distinguished international landscaper and interior designer. He built the house to resemble an old luxury resort in Tuscany, whilst providing all the modern amenities for extra comfort.

Description

Much attention was given to the interior to give it an elegant touch, while maintaining the charm of a family home. Inside, the colors are muted and peaceful and the rooms are beautifully decorated with quality fabrics and antiques. It also features a heated pool, making it possible to enjoy the water in spring and autumn. Enjoy leisurely sunsets by the heated pool, dine al fresco under the stars and sleep in the comfort of air-conditioned bedrooms. A fabulous local cook is available, and the Villa is ideal for families or group of friends.

Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen with fireplace and archway opening to the dining room with French doors to a covered loggia; master bedroom with king size four–poster bed, ensuite bathroom and door leading to the pool; twin bedroom with iron frame beds; bathroom with wall-mounted shower and curtain that can be either private to the bedroom or serve as a guest bathroom. The living room opens to the pool and is equipped with satellite TV, CD, VCR and radio and has a large fireplace.

First floor: second master bedroom with king size four-poster bed, alcove for desk and ensuite bathroom; double bedroom with queen canopied bed; double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, desk and dresser; twin bedroom; bathroom; terrace. A flight of stone steps lead to the garden.
