Villa Rivetta, available for exclusive lakeside holidays on Lake Como is in the charmingly picturesque village of Santa Maria Rezzonico, on the west bank of upper Lake Como. One of the Marquess’ favorite homes, it enjoys unrivalled tranquility and a truly beautiful and calm landscape as far as the eye can see. The house climbs up to the prettiest part of the village, close to the ancient castle and is reached by a short walk.

Description

Restoration and refurbishment have been carried out in compliance with the principles of sustainable architecture and the interiors, thanks to the expertise of internationally recognized consultants, reflect the principles of Feng shui philosophy.

Cars can be parked about 275 yards from the house and guests reach the entrance by means of a flight of steps*. Porterage service is available both on arrival and on departure.

Ground floor: an ample, well-equipped open-style kitchen and a large dining area with direct access to two charming terraces. The house enjoys also a covered terrace, equipped for barbecues and dining. An independent entrance from here leads to a cozy little annex with a double bed, TV, cooking facilities, bathroom and terrace.

First floor: an elegant lounge and a bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and direct access to the large terrace overlooking the lake.

Second floor: a large double bedroom with private bathroom and two extra single beds.

*Please note: the steps leading to the entrance are steep and not easily used by people with walking difficulties or by the disabled. For special needs, there is a second entrance with shallow steps that can be used for pushchairs and buggies.
