In Athens a half day tour visits, among other sites, the legendary Acropolis crowned by a vision of perfection, the Parthenon. Ample time is left for personal exploration or side trips such as Delphi, site of the topmost prophetic oracle of classical Greece. In your Athenian nights, or days, try savoring delicious cuisine and wines at a taverna in the section of Plaka. You'll love it. Embark your Greek Island cruise and jet set to islands such as Mykonos, and ports of call replete with legend, history and enchanting natural settings. In Kusadasi, Turkey, there is an optional tour of Ephesus, one the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World and on the island of Patmos you may visit St. John's Monastery and the Grotto of the Apocalypse. In medieval Rhodes, once site of the Colossus, you may tour the town, a World Heritage Site. From Heraklion, Crete, you may elect to delve into the Minoan civilization by visiting the Palace of Knossos. You will also stop at Santorini believed by many to be the site of the lost continent of Atlantis. Day 1 - FRI - ATHENS

Arrival into Athens. Balance of the day is at leisure for you to get acquainted with Athens, the capital and largest city of Greece.

Day 2 - SAT - ATHENS

Half day morning city tour includes highlights of Athens and the Acropolis plus the new Acropolis Museum. Afternoon and balance of day is at leisure. (B)

Day 3 - SUN - ATHENS

A full day at leisure to explore this lively city on your own or take an optional tour. (B)


Greek island cruiseAfter breakfast, you transfer to the port of Athens and embark on your cruise ship. Sail to the picturesque isle of Mykonos, known for its windmills and lively harbor. An optional excursion to picturesque Hora, the island capital, is available. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)


Morning arrival in Kusadasi, Turkey, located nearby Ephesus, one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World”. Wander through the famous Turkish bazaar or enjoy an optional tour of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary. This afternoon sail to Patmos, site of the Monastery of St. John the Divine and the Grotto of the Apocalypse. Optional excursion to visit these sites is available. Evening departure for Rhodes. Day 6 - WED - RHODES

 Aegean cruiseA day on the Island of Roses, famed for its Medieval Old Town, great shopping and ancient site of the Colossus of Rhodes. Optional visits to the Temple of Athena on the majestic Acropolis of Lindos, overlooking the Bay of Paul or the Old Town and Philerimos. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)


Morning call at Greece’s largest island, Crete. Here you have an optional visit of Knossos and the Palace of King Minos or enjoy a taste of Crete. Later you sail for the volcanic island of Santorini. Some of the villages are perched on the rim of the volcano and believed by many to be the site of the Lost Continent of Atlantis. View a breathtaking sunset before you sail later this evening.
