Tinghir awaits for your exploration with its craggy canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains known as Todra Gorges. You will travel to Erfoud by way of Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty, from where the current Moroccan royal family originates. Your next overnight stop is Merzouga where you can delve into the desert on an optional excursion or explore at your leisure. Travel along the nomad's road through Berber villages on your way to Zagora then along to Agdz on the banks of the Draa River in the Draa Valley. Visit the famous Kasr Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and location of acclaimed movies and television programs including: Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator. Day 1 - Sat Casablanca/Marrakech

Arrive at the Casablanca Airport, then connect to your own domestic flight to Marrakech. Transfer from the Marrakech Airport to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech. (D)

Day 2 - Sun Marrakech

Spend your day exploring exotic Marrakech. A guided tour will introduce you to the old city, its foundation, and almost thousand year history. Visit historical landmarks including the Bahia Palace and the royal necropolis of Saadian Tombs. After lunch tour the Jemaa El- Fna Square in the heart of the city where bursts of incredible spontaneous entertainment are commonplace. Finish your tour at the foot of the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque, whose silhouette inspired the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat. Then discover the souks, or open air markets, and trades of carpenters, babouchiers, and dyers. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech. (B,D)

Day 3 - Mon Marrakech/Ouarzazate/Dades

Drive from Marrakech into the High Atlas Mountains. At an altitude of 7,414 feet, take the Tizin'Tichka mountain pass into the town of Ouarzazate. Continue through Skoura to the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a dusty caravan trading route lined with Berber settlements that stand like life-size sand castles along its edges. Enter Dades and check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Boumalne Dades. (B,D)

Day 4 - Tue Dades/Tinghir/Rissani/Erfoud/Merzouga

From Dades, depart for Tinghir and visit the craggy canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains known as Todra Gorges. Pass through Erfoud via Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty whose ancestors are the current Moroccan royal family. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will be transferred by 4x4 to your Desert Camp. After you settle in, you may enjoy an optional Camel ride. Dinner and overnight in Desert Camp in Merzouga. (B, D)

Day 5 - Wed Merzouga/Zagora

Wake-up early to admire the splendid sunrise before leaving for Zagora through the Berber villages along the nomad?s road. Enjoy dinner at a Riad in Zagora. The interior garden and water feature in this traditional Moroccan home moderate the air temperature and calm the mind with privacy and symmetry. Dinner and overnight in Zagora. (B,D)

Day 6 - Thu Zagora/Ouarzazate

Travel to Agdz on the banks of the Draa River in the Draa Valley. Visit the famous Kasr Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and location in famous shows and movies like Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator.
