On a hilltop, 600m above sea level, Piombona has incomparable views over to distant mountains in the Tiber Valley which will enchant guests at all times of the year. Situated lower down, the swimming pool has an uninterrupted panorama which delights visitors. Because of the secluded position, and the expansive and unspoiled vista, the property has been restored to include a terrace encircling the entire house.

Location

Lawn and trees make up the rest of the garden. The interior is exceptionally accommodating and guests not only have a telephone on meter but a portable telephone to take outside in the grounds. Being well placed for visiting all the historical centres, this is a welcome retreat in a tranquil environment. Piombona is owned by a restaurateur who has a trattoria only a five minute drive down the hill where his excellent food is served at modest prices. Previous guests have found the owner to be charming and helpful. Anghiari village is a further 5 minute drive and the centre of Arezzo can be reached within 15 to 20 minutes.

Entrance hall. Studio. Breakfast room. Kitchen with cooker, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, leading onto an uncovered furnished terrace. Sitting/dining room with open fireplace and satellite television, and opening onto a covered, furnished terrace. One double bedded room with adjacent very smart tiled bathroom, having bath, hand shower and separate shower, WC etc. The first floor has one double bedded and one twin bedded room and between the two is a small shower room with WC etc.
