Completely restored, the farmhouse comprises the owners' accommodation and two apartments for rental, each with independent entrances at opposite sides. The kitchens and bathrooms in both the attractively and comfortably furnished apartments are modern and well equipped. There is also ample garden furniture. The musician owners are most welcoming. Birthplace of St.Francis, Assisi is a remarkably beautiful city. Scene of most of St.Francis' work, there are many shrines and memorials to this founder of the Franciscan order. There is the medieval basilica over his tomb and on plains below the city is Santa Maria degli Angeli, built over the saint’s small chapel. Nearby are small villages for shopping and a public telephone within walking distance. Tennis courts are available within 5 kms.
