High above Amalfi, just below the rocky peaks that characterise the hilltops, and clinging to a terraced hillside, is Apartment Alto. This apartment has views over one of the most picturesque towns in the world. Guests can enjoy that view to the full from their own private terrace, shaded by a classic pergola, and wafted by the sweet scents of myriad flowers. The terrace is furnished, has a small electric barbecue, and is perfect for cool breakfasts, long lunches and drawn-out dinners. The apartment has a double bedded room and a sofa-bed hence it is ideal for two or three adults or a couple with a child.

Location

From the apartment there are 100 steps down to the road and car parking is roadside. We highly recommend leaving the car to go to Amalfi 3 kilometres away and, to this end, there is a bus stop just a few metres from the bottom of the apartment steps. Bus services are frequent and cheap. Closer to home, one of the biggest supermarkets in the area is 10 minutes walk away.

Layout

At the top of the steps there is a shared iron gateway and outside passageway to the front door of the apartment. Once inside, a double aspect, sitting/dining room with door out to the terrace. Sliding door into a small kitchen with 4 gas ring hob, electric oven, single sink unit and fridge. Left of the front door is a sitting room with single sofa-bed. Brand new, beautifully tiled, bathroom with hand shower. One double/twin bedded room. A WC etc., with washing machine. All main rooms have air-conditioning/fan heater units. Central heating and air conditioning are available at an extra charge.
