Verbier, located at 1500 m (4921 ft), in the French speaking Valais region, enjoys a sunny southwest exposure, and is at the center of one of the largest ski areas in the world, the "4 Vallees", with 410 Km (254 miles) of pistes and 95 lifts. The runs of the "4 Vallees" join together the ski domains of Verbier, Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, as well as Val de Bagnes and Entremont.This almost limitless area and the possibility of off-piste skiing, have gained Verbier a worldwide reputation. When reaching the glacier Mont Fort, at 3330 m (10826 ft), one is guaranteed exceptional ski conditions and a unique view of the Alps major peaks. After-ski restaurants, pubs and discos will complete any day and perhaps start the next.
