Hotel
Description
Sunshine Village is nicknamed "Sunny", a resort first opened in 1936 with a snowcat transporting skiers to its upper peaks. Today its base elevation is the highest in all of Banff, boasting over 3,500 vertical feet of drop. Snow conditions sometimes permit Sunshine Village to remain open until July. It is in the unique position of straddling the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia; we call it "cross-border" skiing. |
