On this itinerary, East meets West. Culture and History have been crossing paths here for the past 5,000 years. The journey begins with two unforgettable nights in the jewel of the Bosphorus, Istanbul. Day 1 Thu Depart USA
Overnight flight to Istanbul. Meals and refreshments served on board.

Day 2 Fri Istanbul
Morning arrival in Istanbul where your Central Holidays tour host will meet and assist you with transfer to your hotel. Afternoon and balance of day at leisure.

Day 3 Sat Istanbul
Morning city tour includes highlights of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. Start at the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque and St. Sophia Museum. After an included lunch with authentic Turkish recipes, continue to Topkapi Palace and the famous Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4,000 shops filled with antiques, jewelry, carpets and leather. (B,L)

Day 4 Sun Istanbul/Cruise
Morning at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own. Later transfer to your 'floating hotel' for embarkation. Sail later this afternoon. (B,D)

Day 5 Mon Cruise/Mykonos
Morning at sea. Afternoon arrival at the island of Mykonos known for its white-washed buildings, sidewalk cafes and shops. Sail later in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Tue Patmos/Kusadasi
This morning arrive at Patmos where St. John the Divine received The Revelation as found in the Last Book of the New Testament. Optional excursion to the Monastery and Grotto. Sail later to the Turkish port of Kusadasi where an optional excursion to ancient Ephesus is available. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Wed Rhodes
A full day on the 'Island of Roses' famed for its Medieval Old Town and site of the Colossus of Rhodes. Optional visit to Lindos and the majestic Acropolis overlooking the bay. Sail in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Thu Crete/Santorini
Morning call at Greece's largest island, Crete. Visit Knossos and the Palace of King Minos (Optional). Later you sail for the volcano island of Santorini with its town perched high above the ocean. Sail this evening. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Fri Athens
Disembark this morning in Piraeus and transfer to your hotel in Athens. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 10 Sat Athens
Morning city tour includes highlights of Athens, the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Afternoon at leisure to explore this lively city on your own. (B)

Day 11 Sun Athens/USA
Morning transfer to Athens Airport for your return flight to the USA, arriving the same day. (B)
