Follow the footsteps of the great reformer through pivotal moments of his inspiring life including his 1519 debate with John Eck in Wittenberg "Lutherstadt" (Luther Town) that resulted in a papal ban and Luther later posting of 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church, the step that sparked the Reformation Movement. Visit Eisleben, where Luther's houses of birth and death were granted World Heritage status. Also stop at Erfurt's Augustinian Monastery where Luther was ordained and Worms, where Luther appeared before the Diet and a monument is dedicated to the Reformer. The town of Eisenach has Luther House, now a museum dedicated to the life of the Reformer.
