Fabulous Delphi & Meteora is a 3-day, 2-night package that starts in Athens. Drive to Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and Arachova on the slopes of Mt. Parnassos. In Delphi visit the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, Treasury of the Athenians, Temple of Apollo and the Museum. Afternoon is at leisure with dinner and overnight in Delphi. Next morning at leisure then depart traveling along Central Greece and the towns of Lamia and Kalambaka, for dinner and overnight. This morning visit Meteora, with its striking scenery. Visit ancient monasteries and see exquisite Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, arriving in the early evening.

Day 1 Athens/Delphi

Drive to Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova on the slopes of Mount Parnassos. In Delphi you will visit the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum. The afternoon is free. Dinner and overnight in Delphi. (D)



Day 2 Delphi/Kalambaka

Morning at leisure and then depart, traveling along Central Greece and the towns of Lamia and Kalambaka, where you will have dinner and overnight. (B,D)



Day 3 Kalambaka/Meteora/Athens

Visit Meteora, standing, as if suspended between earth and sky, on top of granite rocks. A particularly impressive scenery. Visit the ageless monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit Leonida's Monument) and arrive in Athens in the early evening. (B)
