Eucharistic Miracles & Shrines of Italy Call for Price
14 Days (3 nts. Rome, 2 nts. San Giovanni Rotondo, 3 nts. Assisi, 2 nts. Florence & 2 nts. Padua)

The sacrament of the Eucharist expresses Jesus' words during the Last Supper with his disciples, when he gave them bread, saying, "This is my body," and wine, saying, "This is my blood." (Mat. 26; Mark 14; Luke 22; 1 Cor. 11.), the very essence of the  Holy Communion. The inspiring itinerary we suggest touches Italy's Eucharistic sites and other significant Christian sites. We stop at St. Benedict's tomb in Monte Cassino, San Giovanni Rotondo to see the crucifix from which St. Pio received the stigmata. In Lanciano we learn about its Eucharistic Miracle and, at the Marian shrine of Loreto, we visit the Nazareth Holy House , transported by angels here in 1294. Our quest takes in Assisi and visits St. Francis' tomb and where He spent his life. Again in Assisi we see St. Clare's incorrupt body. The Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena is seen in Orvieto's Cathedral and, at the Basilica of  St. Francis in Siena, see miraculous hosts intact since 1730. In Padua kneel by St. Anthony's Tomb and, when in Rome attend the weekly Papal Audience, visit the the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, explore the Catacombs and the great Roman basilicas. In addition to Christian sites Rome, Florence and Venice abound in remains of Imperial Rome and Renaissance monuments.
