Madrid is one of Europe's foremost cultural capitals, with a collection of art museums second to none. Strolling the galleries of the unparalleled Prado, you'll view the works of such native artists as Velazquez, Goya and many other masters. In the evening, the capital comes to life with a nearendless array of performing arts, including the famous Opera House. A varied selection of restaurants offers specialties from throughout Spain to satisfy the most discriminating palate and the most demanding pocketbook. Venturing beyond the city, you'll discover lovely storybook towns like Toledo, Segovia, avila, El Escorial, and Aranjuez.
Valencia was once considered one of Spain's best kept secrets. This UNESCO World Heritage city is quickly becoming one of the country's most talked about places. Famous for it's "Paella",  Valencia looks to welcome visitors from around the world with grace and style as it embraces some of the architects the likes of Santiago Calatrava, winning designer of New York's downtown Transportation Hub Terminal.

Day 2 Madrid

Morning arrival in Madrid airport, where you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel. You are free to relax for the remainder of the day. In the afternoon, you may want to venture out to enjoy the capital city of Spain. Perhaps stroll along the cobblestone streets, take in one of Madrid's three internationally recognized fine museums, or sample genuine "Tapas" at one of the many typical taverns in the city.

Day 3 Madrid

This morning enjoy a unique view of Madrid aboard a double-decker bus. This tour, included with your visit to Spain's capital city, offers three choices covering the city's highlights, from historical sites and monuments, to the modern Madrid of skyscrapers and cosmopolitan architecture. This tour provides complete flexibility to hop on and off as many times as you like.

Day 4 Madrid

Today can be spent visiting one of Spain's three internationally recognized museums along the "Golden Art Triangle." These treasures include The Prado, where you can find classic styles of Velasquez; The Reina Sofia, home to modern masterpieces by Picasso and Dali; or the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, home to rare and once private collections donated to Madrid for permanent enjoyment. Of course if touring is your pleasure, optional tours can also be arranged to El Escorial, Valley of the Fallen or Toledo, any of which are just a short distance away and easily accessible.

Day 5 Madrid / Valencia

After breakfast, morning transfer on your own to the rail station where you will board the Alaris train for Valencia. Upon arrival, transfer on your own to the hotel of your choice. Remainder of the day is at leisure to become acquainted with Spain's third largest seaside city.

Day 6 Valencia

Spend the day getting to know Valencia, recognized as the city of "Land and Sea" throughout Spain, for its seamless blend of monuments and attractions. Get a unique view aboard a double-decker bus tour offering a great opportunity to experience the main attractions, including the new center of Arts & Sciences, and hop on and hop off as many times as you like throughout the day.

Day 7 Valencia

Take advantage of a day at leisure to take a short walking tour through the ancient city center. Stop in the city Cathedral, standing in the same place as the first temple of this once Roman city. Take in a museum, shop for ceramics at nearby Lladro museum, or simply relax along the seashore with a stop at a local restaurant, in the city loved by Ernest Hemingway for it's infamous Paella.

Day 8 Valencia to USA (Or extend you stay)

After breakfast it is time to bid farewell, as you are transferred to the airport for your homeward bound flight to the USA, arriving the same day.
