TourDescription

Paris remains one of the most inspiring and rewarding cities in the world. Packed with attractions and monuments, from the antique to the most modern cosmopolitan, the city takes nothing for granted. Even once you’ve sampled the city’s magnificent sights, you’ll find an unlimited supply of culture, art, nightlife, eateries and chic shopping experiences to delay your departure. Come delight in Paris’ splendors - the Eiffel Tower, Palais Royal, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, the designer shops along the Champs Elysees - a tree-lined beauty, full of elegant cafes, theaters and shops developed by Louis XV. Located in southwest France, the Bordeaux region offers various wines to delight gourmets or anyone with a curious palate. With vineyards that are among the largest of the fine wine regions in the world, the area also has varied landscapes and many UNESCO certified historical sites. The “wine routes” start with the Bergerac area in Perigord Pourpre (Monbazillac, Pecharmant) and proceed into the Bordeaux region with its rolling vine-covered hills and to the valleys of the Lot-et-Garonne (Coteaux du Marmandais, the vineyards of Buzet-sur-Baise and part of the Armagnac appellation).
The city of Bordeaux bears the same name as the region and the famous wine that’s been produced there for over 1,200 years. While the region is most well-known for its wine making, it also has many historical villages, cathedrals, and castles. The area has three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Saint-Andre Cathedral, the Saint-Seurin Basilica and the Saint Michael’s Basilica.
