This is a beguiling combination of Paris "joie de vivre" and living in a Loire Valley chateau. In Paris pick up a Hertz car and drive to the Chateau de Rochecotte, an 18th century chateau located in a Loire Valley immense 19-acre park with paths and walkways to delve into and a heated swimming pool in which to relax and soak in the ambiance. Itinerary

Days 1-3 Paris
Arrive in Paris and transfer (on your own) to your hotel. The day is at leisure to begin exploring this fascinating city. You have three full days at leisure. On the day of your choice take the half day guided tour of Paris, which will take you to the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Hotel de Ville, the Louvre, the Place Vendome, the Opera, Concorde, Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel, Trocadero, the Sacre-Coeur, Place du Tertre and Montmartre. Day 4 Paris/Langeais
After breakfast, pick up your rental car at a Hertz location in Paris and drive to the Chateau de Rochecotte located in the heart of the Loire Valley. Check in at the Chateau and this evening you'll enjoy a gastronomic dinner at the Chateau restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5 Langeais
Your day is at leisure. Drive around to the various chateaux of the region and discover the beauty that surrounds you. Your package includes entry to one chateau of your choice. You can choose between Langeais, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau or the Royal Abbey of Fontrevaud. Return to the Chateau for another gastronomic dinner. (B,D)

Day 6 Langeais/Bourgueil
Today, after breakfast, you will visit a vineyard in Bourgueil and learn about the wine-making process from the local experts. You will also be treated to a wine tasting. The balance of the day is at your leisure. (B)

Day 7 Return to USA (or extend your stay)
After breakfast you will drive your rental car back to the airport in Paris to catch your flight back to the USA, arriving home the same day. (B)
