Day 2 Sun Madrid
Upon arrival, you'll be met by your Central Holidays representative and taken to your hotel where you will be free to enjoy the capital city of Spain at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed welcome "Tapas" dinner at a local restaurant. (D)
Day 3 Mon Madrid
After breakfast, spend the morning on an escorted sightseeing motorcoach tour of Madrid. Highlights include the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the Alcala Gate, the Plaza de Espana and Plaza de Oriente. Afterwards visit one of the best preserved Palaces in Europe, the Royal Palace of Madrid. In the afternoon you are free to visit one of Madrid's well-known museums along the "Golden Art Triangle". Day 4 Tue Madrid/Seville
After breakfast, bid farewell to Spain's capital city and board your motorcoach tour bus heading south to the romantic city of Seville. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the city in the company of a very experienced local guide. Highlights include a visit to the Cathedral, considered the world's largest Gothic edifice. Afterwards, stop for some photos of La Giralda tower before strolling through the narrow lanes of Seville's delightful Santa Cruz district, a former Jewish Quarter. After a full day, dinner is included at your hotel in Seville. (B,D)
Day 5 Wed Seville/Cordoba/Seville
After a short drive, your tour begins in the captivating city of Cordoba where you will enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Historic Center. Visit the Aljama 8th Century Mosque combining Islamic, Baroque and Gothic design and internationally recognized as an architectural treasure. Afterwards, continue with a stroll along the former Jewish quarter before returning to Seville. In the evening, enjoy an included dinner and Flamenco Show at a local Tablao of Seville. (B,D)
Day 6 Thu Seville/Granada
After breakfast depart Seville and continue your tour with a step back into the rich history of Granada as you visit its main attraction, the fabulous Alhambra Palace, widely regarded as being one of the 10 architectural wonders of the world. Both graceful and mighty, this citadel is laced in stone and is surrounded by gardens and fountains. Your tour includes ample time to walk through the beautiful grounds of Generalife and view the palace of Charles V. For your convenience and relaxation, dinner is included at your hotel. (B,D)
Day 7 Fri Granada/Valencia
After breakfast depart the historic city of Granada, in the company of a professional tour escort and head towards the third largest city of Spain, Valencia. An introduction to the city is provided through a panoramic tour for a view of the main avenues and squares of the city. Afterwards, your tour continues with a walk through the historical heart of Valencia to admire the gothic "Carmen Quarter" and visit La Lonja, Virgin Square and Colon Market. In the evening you are free to explore Valencia at leisure. (B)
Day 8 Sat Valencia/Barcelona
After breakfast depart towards Barcelona where your first visit will be to Montjuic, site of the 1992 Olympics for a superb view of the Barcelona skyline. View Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Cathedral and the Gothic district before checking into your hotel for your overnight stay. (B)
Day 9 Sun Barcelona
Your day begins with a guided tour of Barcelona including a visit to the major sites. Begin in the Gothic Quarter and walk the winding streets towards the Town Hall. Afterwards walk along the Passeig de Gracia for a view of Gaudi's Casa Batlo and La Pedrera before heading towards Parc Guell for a keen view of Gaudi's genius design in urban living. Your tour will end with a visit to the famous and still unfinished Sagrada Familia church. Included is a farewell tapas dinner where you can share favorite moments before heading back to the hotel for your overnight. (B,D)
Day 10 Mon Barcelona/USA (or extend your stay)
Morning transfer to Barcelona Airport for your return flight home. Meals and refreshments served aloft. (B)
