It was the beginning of the twentieth century when the ancient Villa San Pietro was built by two danish sisters, keen on travelling and fond of the Island, who chose it as their private residence. The history begins with the name of the old byzantine church consecrated to Saint Peter, a gem placed just in front of the Hotel.
