The Palacio del Bailio emerges as an inspiring balance between the past and the present thus, nowadays its stables, coach houses, straw lofts, granaries, Roman remains, valuable original paintings and splendid garden represent a careful equilibrium between design, history, harmony, space and light. The Palace, mainly built between the XVI and XVIII centuries, was originally one of the large properties in the allotment of Cordoba after the Reconquest and was declared Bien de Interacs Cultural Well of Cultural Interest in the Monument category in 1982.
