Hotel
Description
"This 4 star Hotel is perched at the top of the main coastal road, overlooking the bay of Amalfi. This property has an undisputed historical and architectural interest, as it originally served as a convent. The cloister was founded by St Francis of Assisi in 1222, and it was surrounded by cells that are now unique guest bedrooms. Its small private chapel is still used for intimate wedding ceremonies. A later addition to the property, a Saracen watchtower built in the 16thCentury, was used to guard over the Bay of Amalfi and it is now accommodating some of the finest rooms. Modern amenities include a fabulous seawater swimming pool, a solarium, restaurants, bars and meeting facilities. 40 rooms, all and 8 suites with Tv sat, telephone air conditioning and frigobar. "
