Tour Description & Map

Seville, one of the most romantic of cities, is rich in Moorish heritage. You will visit the Alcazar, a palace-fortress, a legacy of Arab kings. Marvel at the Cathedral, (a former Mosque) and the Giralda Tower. You'll have ample time to stroll through streets that are the perfect setting for operas such as Carmen, Don Juan and Figaro. Savor the art of tapas tasting in a city known for some of Spain's best and the rich flavors of an included dinner and Flamenco show. This 6-night stay also includes an excursion to Jerez, where you'll enjoy a lunch and a tasting of Sherry wines. Another excursion will be to an olive oil producing farm for a demonstration.

Itinerary
Day 1 Seville
Arrive in Seville. Airport assistance and transfer to the hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 Seville
Morning guided tour of Seville, viewing the impressive Plaza de Espana, which was part of the famous Iberian exposition at the 1929 Worlds Fair. Continue to the Cathedral, the third largest in the world, built on the site of a former Mosque. You can still see remains of the Mosque by the Orange Trees Courtyard and the Giralda Tower. We will see the Alcazar, which is the oldest royal residence of the Moorish Kings and arrive at the Santa Cruz Quarter, with its narrow cobblestoned streets and hidden squares. The balance of the day is at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 Seville / Jerez / Seville
Full day excursion to Jerez, famous for its wine of the same name. Enjoy lunch and a tasting of various types of Sherry wine in the unique atmosphere of a "Bodega". Return to Seville in the late afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 Seville
Full day excursion to an olive oil producing farm for a demonstration and tasting. Enjoy lunch prior to returning to Seville. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 Seville
Full day at leisure to retrace your steps of the past days and soak up the peaceful life of Seville. Dinner and Flamenco Show.

Day 6 Seville
Another day at leisure to relax and enjoy Seville's incomparable beauty, or for some last minute shopping. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 Seville
Assisted transfer to Seville airport for your flight home.
