Far More to See than Athens
When most people start thinking about vacations to Greece the first thing that usually comes to mind is Athens, the ancient capital of the modern world. However, while seeing Athens is a must for anyone who has never visited Greece, there is so much more to see scattered throughout the islands. Starting with ancient Macedonia to the north, this is an area of this country that is steeped in history.
Of course many people take vacations to Greece to be able to enjoy the pristine beaches and blue waters of the Aegean Sea and as you will see there are plenty of them to be found.
