We understand that for many, traveling to Cuba is truly a once in a lifetime experience and we are
delighted to provide programs that take travelers to discover the most well-known parts of the island
nation as well as its lesser known gems including its world-famous cities, small fishing villages, vast
valleys, and beautiful seaside splendors. Our programs feature many meals at “paladar” restaurants
owned by locals, where travelers can indulge in homemade farm-to-table dishes prepared with
island-grown ingredients. Musical performances and art expositions, plus visits with farmers, craftsmen,
historians, educators and more also offer a truly profound look at Cuba’s culture and customs.
Join us to have an in-depth adventure in Havana…Once known as the playground of the rich and
famous, Cuba’s capital beckons with its acclaimed Spanish colonial architecture, famed watering
holes and family-run restaurants, live music and percussion that wakens the dancing spirit, plus the
coast-hugging Malecón overlooking the seemingly never-ending sea, old world traditions and warm,
welcoming people that easily captivate your soul.
Further along your travels in Cuba…Enjoy some time in the colonial city of Trinidad, founded in 1514,
a well preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site situated between the mountains and the sea. Visit
Camagüey, Cuba’s third-largest city, where a labyrinth of winding streets and alleys spill into public
plazas in this first of seven villages founded by the Spaniards. Experience Cienfuegos, known as
Cuba’s “Pearl of the South.” Cross as many of Varadero’s 17 bridges as you can while visiting this
seaside town. Explore the Afro-Cuban capital of Santiago de Cuba, the birthplace of some of the
country’s most famous musicians and home to the annual Fiesta del Fuego and Carnaval
celebrations in July.
Across this magical country, you can take in expansive city views and breathtaking natural beauty;
go behind the scenes at cigar rolling workshops and meet tobacco farmers; see how rum is made;
enjoy lively music and colorful art; and fall under Cuba’s hypnotic cultural spell. All of this and more
are intricate parts of the Central Holidays Cuba travel program. Come let us share this magnificent
country with you!
