Arrival at Panama City, transfer to your
hotel in Panama City. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Early morning transfer
to the domestic airport to board your flight to Playon Chico. Upon your
arrival you will be met by your local host and proceed to your selected
lodge, your home for the upcoming days. During your stay, you may
choose to learn about the Guna culture, go swimming, snorkeling or relax
on beautiful white sand beaches. Also during your stay in San Blas, you
have 4 half day tours included. You may choose from a list of tours
including a river tour, hiking through the forest, a community visit, visit of
the uninhabited islands, the mangroves & traditional fishing (extra

Today early in the morning fly
from Playon Chico to Panama City, upon your arrival you will begin your
full day tour. Visit the ruins of Old Panama, climb up the Cathedral tower
and visit the Old Panama Museum. Continue to Casco Antiguo, which
dates from the late 1600's, home to monuments of Ferdinand de
Lesseps and other Frenchmen instrumental in the ill-fated attempt of the
French to construct a canal through Panama. You will also visit the Fish
Market located on the Cinta Costera. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
The tour continues with a visit to the Miraflores Locks at the Panama
Canal where large ships can be seen transiting the canal. Enjoy a
presentation by the Panama Canal Authority on the history of the
Panama Canal and marvel at the workings of this feat of human
engineering .Late afternoon return to your hotel in Panama City. (B, L)
Transfer to the domestic airport
for your flight to David, gateway to Boquete. Upon arrival, transfer to your
hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)
Today you will have the unique opportunity to visit a coffee plantation: walk through the coffee fields and learn how the coffee is harvested and processed: from the picking of the coffee cherries to its journey into the cup. Your tour ends in the romantic coffee cupping room in an old mill, where we taste a delicious Panamanian fresh coffee. Afterwards experience a cooking class in and learn the secrets of typical Panamanian food. After lunch it
