Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to your downtown hotel. Take time to get to know the city at your own pace. Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is a cosmopolitan place that showcases great European cultural influences. During the day, many attractions beckon: museums, art galleries, shops, parks, treelined boulevards, and much more. At night consider visiting a “tango” bar or acclaimed local restaurant.

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Buenos Aires. See The Pyramid de Mayo, the Presidential palace, the Cabinet, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. View the symbol of the city, “The Obelisque.” Enjoy history and modern day musings at every turn as you discover the various neighborhoods from San Telmo with its signature tango parlors; to European-inspired La Boca, trendy Puerto Madero, and La Recoleta Cultural Center. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. (B)

Transfer to the domestic airport for the flight to Ushuaia and upon arrival transfer to your hotel for check-in. Ushuaia is the capital of the territory and the southernmost city in the world. Take time on your own to see the End of the World Museum and the old prison. Stroll around the harbor and enjoy the brilliant scenery. Make sure to sample Argentina’s culinary scene, perhaps tasting the area’s exquisite spider crabs. (B)

Today’s activities commence with a half day tour to the Tierra del Fuego National Park where you will enjoy the splendid landscapes as well as its many rivers that flow into the Beagle Channel. This afternoon venture off on your own to discover Ushuaia or participate in an optional Catamaran tour. The optional tour sails on Beagle Channel where you can take-in the seascapes and seabirds before continuing to Island Los Lobos for sea lion viewing. (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport and head to El Calafate, a city in Argentina’s Patagonia. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax and enjoy the fresh Patagonian air and breathtaking landscapes. Take the opportunity on your own to discover Avenida del Libertador, El Calafate’s main street where you can savor the flavors at local restaurants and bakeries or shop for souvenirs. (B)

Adventure along on full day tour to Perito Moreno Glacier. This is one of the few glaciers that still continues advancing. Every 4 to 5 years it covers the gap between the mainland and itself and expands into the Lago Argentino. The enormous pressure of the water causes it to crash with a thunderous noise. You can see this glacial spectacle every day when single ice blocks fall into the lake. Return to El Calafatefor an evening at leisure. (B)

Morning awaits with a transfer to the bus terminal for your drive to Puerto Natales, a charming village situated along the coast of the Fjord of Last Hope. Puerto Natales is the capital of Ultima Esperanza Province and was founded in 1911. Originally, the locals made a living on sheep farming and fishing. In the past years it developed to be an important touristic center as the starting point for excursions to the sensational National Park Torres del Paine. (B)

Embark on a full day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park and experience reportedly the most spectacular worldwide reserve at the end of the world! In this protected area you will find a fertile combination of lakes, lagoons, waterfalls, glaciers, hills and peaks. Inside, the road is surrounded with dozens of lagoons contrasting with hills and snow-capped mountains. Here you will visit the Milodon Cave and the Salto Grande waterfall. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal for your scenic drive to Punta Arenas, the first permanent settlement in the Austral zone of Patagonia. Tour the town that was established in 1848, and quickly became the most important cattle raising center of Patagonia. Proceed to Cerro La Cruz, from where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city and the Straits of Magellan. Afterwards continue to Punta Arenas airport for your flight to Santiago. (B)

Today’s city tour takes you to see such iconic sites as San Francisco church, European-inspired neighborhoods: Barrio Paris & Londres and Barrio Concha y Toro, Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, the National History museum and town hall. Stroll Santiago’s main avenue “Alameda” and see the “Palacio de la Moneda” before driving to San Cristóbal Hill for the finest views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. The tour ends in the Providencia shopping zone. (B)
