Embark on a city tour starting in the city’s old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with fascinating historic buildings in Spanish architectural style. See Lima’s Cathedral; the Casa Aliaga colonial mansion; Larco Museum that features a pre-Hispanic collection of objects and is situated on a pyramid from the VII century; and "Love Park" in the scenic coastal district of Miraflores. Later, fly to Cusco and transfer to your hotel in Sacred Valley. (B)

Start your day at Pisac market, featuring alpaca textiles, musical instruments, paintings, carvings, necklaces, and replicas of old Inca pieces. Next, explore the Pisac archaeological site showcasing the largest complex of terraces, an agricultural masterpiece of the Inca Empire. After an included lunch, visit Ollantaytambo, one of the most remarkable complexes of the Inca Empire and a typical example of Inca urban planning. Overnight in Sacred Valley. (B,L)

A once-ina- lifetime experience awaits you today in Machu Picchu, Peru’s most important archaeological site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Take the train to Aguas Calientes. Then it’s on to the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture situated on a mountain ridge nearly 8,000 feet above sea level that served as a sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Pachacutec. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then back to Cusco. (B,L)

Start today’s Cusco city tour visiting the Coricancha, or “The Temple of the Sun,” that was once covered in gold. Visit the Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas. Continue on to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, where during the winter solstice, the Inca feast of IntiRaymi is recreated each year. Next, visit the archeological complex of Quenqo. Then see the PukaPucara, or "Red Fortress," an architectural complex of alleged military use. The rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure. (B)

After breakfast, board your deluxe motor coach which will take you from Cusco to Puno, making stops in some fascinating places. Visit the districts of Andahuaylillas with its beautiful baroque Church. Then on to Raqchi for a visit to the Temple of Wiracocha. Enjoy a delicious Andean buffet for lunch at a local restaurant. Your next stop is La Raya, the highest point en route and the last stop before reaching Puno. (B,L)

After breakfast we depart for Copacabana located on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Visit the shrine and the Dark Indian Virgin. Continue by Hydrofoil cruise on Lake Titicaca to Moon Island and visit the Sun Virgins Temple. Continue to Sun Island. Climb the Inca “Grand Stairs” and taste the water of the Sacred Fountain, believed to give eternal youth and happiness. Savor lunch at Uma Kollu archaeological Restaurant. Continue to Moon Island and the Sun Virgins Temple “Iñak Uyu.” Overnight in Huatajata. (B,L)

Proceed to the Bolivian capital La Paz, where we will have a half day city tour. You may then explore this marvelous city on your own or participate in an optional excursion. By day you can opt for a half day tour to the Archaeological site of Tiwanaku. Discover Tiwanaku (1.580 BC-1.000 AD), the magnificent ruins of Bolivia and one of the oldest civilizations in the Americas. In the afternoon a half day city tour of La Paz and Moon Valley is offered showcasing pre-Hispanic times with all their traditions and magic rites. Overnight at your selected hotel in La Paz. (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the La Paz airport for your flight home. (B)
