Your morning tour reveals Rome's infinite aspects and eras. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore areas not covered by your city tour or for some shopping. (B)

Day 3 - Rome

Today you may want to enjoy an optional excursion to Pompeii, Capri and idyllic Sorrento. (B)

Day 4 - Rome/Florence

Italy vacationThis morning travel by rail from Rome to Florence, the Cradle of the Renaissance. Balance of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 5 - Florence

Your morning tour will take you on a discovery of the beauty of Florence: the Duomo with its magnificent Brunelleschi dome, the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower, Piazza Della Signoria, and the charming Piazzale Michelangelo with its splendid views. This afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Day 6 - Florence

 Italy vacationsThe city of Florence is a museum in itself with endless landmarks to discover or enjoy an excursion to nearby Siena, San Gimignano or Pisa. (B)

Day 7 - Florence/Cinque Terre

Depart Florence by rail to La Spezia and connect to Monterosso. The spectacular coastline of Cinque Terre, declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site, is one of the best preserved natural and semi-natural parts of the Mediterranean. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 8 - Cinque Terre

Your included Cinque Terre train card will give you access to unlimited travel along the Cinque Terre coast enabling you to visit the five villages nestled along the coastline: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
