Morning arrival into Milan
This morning we depart for a full day excursion. Our first stop will be in Bard. Situated 1200 feet above sea level, this quiet and
picturesque town is narrowly placed between the rock on which the famous Forte di Bard sits, and the mountain at the start of Valle di Champorcher. After the
guided tour of the Forte di Bard, our next stop will be at the "salumificio maison Bertolin"
in Arnad. Visit of the facility where thirty high-quality varieties of salami are
produced and sold. After a tasting session we continue along the axis of the Central Valley, above Saint-Vincent, where on a balcony offering splendid views
over the Ayas Valley, lies the Col de Joux ski area. Overnight in Saint-Vincent. (B)
Today we
visit Courmayeur, one of Italy's most refined and tasteful ski resorts. Courmayeur is full of character, and spectacular scenery. Surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Here, you
will be visiting the Castle of Fenis, the most impressive and best preserved of
the many castles perched on the hillsides above the Aosta Valley. One of the
most appealing parts of this guided tour will be catching a glimpse into everyday
life in a medieval castle. We will climb up to wooden loggias overlooking the
courtyard and some of the finest views of the alps, and visit the cavernous
kitchens, before resuming our journey. Stop at a wine cellar in Morgex for a wine
and cheese tasting before returning to Saint-Vincent for overnight at the hotel.

This morning we depart towards Domodossola. time for lunch on
your own before boarding the historical train of the "centovalli", a railway line
linking Domodossola to the swiss town of Locarno. completely immersed in
nature, this route offers passengers the chance to see up close some
breathtaking scenery. once past Valley Vigezzo, the little blue train crosses the
impressive swiss territory of beech woods, rivers and jagged mountains to
reach Locarno, where our motorcoach will be waiting for us to resume our
journey to Lake maggiore. (B)
Today we visit by boat two of the Borromean Islands: Isola Bella and Isola Madre. On Isola Bella, we will visit Palace Borromeo, a palace in baroque style. Isola Bella is a place of splendor thanks to the recurrent blooming and the priceless architectural treasures that blends into a wonderful microcosm. Since when it was transformed from barren rock to a blooming garden, the island appears as a galleon floating on the blue waters of the Lago Maggiore. Here, the baroque boldly blends with the green architectures of the garden, creating a sight for sore eyes. Isola Madre is the biggest of the Verbano islands. Isola Madre overlooks the Pallanza shores. It raises from the water with an enticing silhouette traced by the marvelous botanical garden with subtropical plants, luxurious vegetation and rare and unique species of camellia, azalea and rhododendron that covers the greatest part of it. Tonight dinner is at a local restaurant. (B,D)

we embark on a morning excursion by boat along the southern shores of Lake Garda. In the afternoon we visit the Valpolicella wine region, where some of Italy's
finest wines are produced. After a wine tasting session at a local winery, we
return to Lake Garda for overnight at hotel. (B)
Today we depart for Treviso a
charming city that has gradually gone back to its ancient splendors after the
cruel bombings of the two World Wars that destroyed a great part of it. Spend an
afternoon wine tasting at a local winery. Enjoy a farewell dinner by your hotel. (B,D)
