Explore the Nile's treasures and see how the great Pharaohs of the past lived. The adventure begins in Egypt's cosmopolitan capital, Cairo and includes a visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza and the famous Sphinx. As you sail down the mighty Nile you will visit the temples of Kom-Ombo and of Edfu and even sail to Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings. Egypt's great wealth and relics from the gods stand tall in the surrounding desert.

Depart New York for Cairo. Meals and refreshments served on board.

Arrive in the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International Airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by your licensed guide/escort, then escorted to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Full day at leisure to explore Cairo on your own. This evening you can learn about the history of this ancient land and the story of the Sphinx through an optional Sound & Light Show. With laser beams and light projections on the ancient walls of the Mummification Temple, desert sands, pyramid walls and the Sphinx itself, a fascinating story is revealed. The accompanying soundtrack enhances the surroundings and the voice of the Sphinx is aptly dramatic and mysterious!

This morning explore the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. Overnight in Cairo. (B,L)

Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor, once there, you will be transferred to your luxury cruise ship for a 4 nights/5 days stay. Remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the ship.In the evening, there will be an optional Sound & Light Show at the Karnak Temple. Have you ever wondered what life was like thousands of years ago? Learn about this through the splendid Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temples, the ultimate example of worship in history and was devoted to the God Amon, his devoted wife Mut. It was built from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. Overnight in Luxor. (B,L,D)

After breakfast you will visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. We will then sail to Esna and pass through the Esna Lock, with lunch on board. This evening you will enjoy a Captain’s welcome cocktail party. (B,L,D)

We have arrived in Edfu, after breakfast we will visit the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, considered the best-preserved ancient temple and the second largest after the Karnak. Sail to KomOmbo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. This evening enjoy a Galabeya Party after dinner. Overnight in Aswan. (B,L,D)

This morning visit the Aswan High Dam, sail on board a felucca, a typical Nile sailboat, and view Kitchener's Island Botanical Garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. In the evening enjoy a Nubian Folkloric Show on board. Overnight in Aswan. (B,L,D)

Disembark and transfer to the Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival to Cairo you will be escorted to your hotel. Evening is free for last minute shopping or to relax by the pool. (B)

Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
